The TM9E series 95% efficiency multi-positional gas furnaces have a 33 in. tall cabinet and are designed for installation in upflow, downflow, and horizontal applications. These single stage forced air furnaces are natural gas ready and convertible to propane (LP Gas) with the optional LP 347 conversion kit. Ideal for new or replacement, residential or commercial installations. The units are factory shipped for installation for upflow and horizontal applications; they can quickly and easily be converted for downflow applications in the field. Certified for Category IV venting and may be vented either through a side wall or roof applications using approved plastic pipe as allowed by the National Fuel Gas Code. Ventin application - Can be installed as either 2-pipe (sealed combustion) or single-pipe vent (using indoor combustion air). Features include an electronic hot surface igniter for increased safety and efficiency; maintenance free 5-speed high efficiency permanently lubricated constant torque direct drive ECM blower motor. ECM motor lowers electrical power usage and improves A/C SEER rating. Built-in, high level self-diagnostics with fault code displays standard on integrated control module for reliable operation and simple troubleshooting. The heat exchanger is constructed of tubular aluminized steel and has a stainless steel secondary heat exchanger. Units are factory assembled, wired and tested to assure safe dependable installation and operation. NOTE: Requires 1/2 in. input to gas valve, dedicated circuit breaker, and 120V wiring with proper polarity and ground. It is recommended that the equipment should be sized, selected and installed by a qualified professional to ensure proper installation, safe operation, and adherence to federal, state and local codes and for valid warranty; see installation guide for more details. Not certified for mobile home use. Does not meet California's South Coast Air Quality Management district low NOx requirements; not available for sale in CA. The unit comes with a standard 5 year limited warranty on parts and 20 year limited warranty on heat exchanger when installed in residential application. For commercial application limited warranty is 1 year on parts and 10 year on heat exchanger.
