Thermal insulation of the internal components improves accuracy. The unique Optiload tip loading mechanism ensures correct tip sealing and light tip ejection. 
Units with volumes larger than 10 µL include a Safe-Cone filter which fits into the tip cone of the pipette and prevents liquid that can potentially contaminate the pipette or sample from entering. Safe-Cone filters can be easily replaced as needed.
