These filtration carts are used to filter new fluid before it is added to a hydraulic system, flush and drain systems, and clean stored fluid. Filters can be changed when they become dirty or clogged. Two-stage filtration has two filters. The first filter removes coarse particles before passing fluid to the second filter to remove water and smaller particles. Units include a motor, pump, and filter element mounted on a wheeled cart to make it easier to move the system around large facilities. Filtration carts are portable wheeled filtration systems used to clean hydraulic fluid in industrial hydraulic systems, such as those found in process and automobile manufacturing. Unlike in-line filters that continuously filter fluid as it passes through the system, these off-line systems are not intended to be permanently attached to the system. Clean hydraulic fluid reduces contaminant buildup and maintenance costs, and extends the working life of the system.
