It also assists in the rapid expansion of cell populations or serum-free or reduced serum culture. It is used in cell adhesion assays and improves the survival of primary cells in cultures.
Corning BioCoat Collagen I Cellware has been used to culture primary murine cardiac myocytes; human vascular SMC; PC12 cells and SH-SY5Y cells; mouse primary keratinocytes; SK-MEL-28-N1 cells; murine myoblast C2C12 cells; HUVEC; HEK-293 cells; rat Kupffer cells and MDA-231 breast cancer cells. The cellware is stable for at least six months from the date of shipment when stored at 4° to 30°C under dry conditions. Cover slips and Culture Slides are stable for at least three months from date of shipment when stored at 2° to 8°C.
