The Branson Sonifier Analog Cell Disruptors
are versatile laboratory units. The Sonifier can be used in a variety of applications such as homogenization, emulsification, and cell disruption by transmitting vibrations through the horn into the compact design makes this unit perfect for benches with limited counter space. Its sloped front control panel provides easy control access and visibility. Each unit is provides fully-automatic tuning and stores frequency at the end of each cycle. The units also protects thermally-sensitive samples by using a pulsed mode to minimize heat generation.
The Sonifier Analog Cell Disruptors have an adjustable power output to meet the needs of each application. The maximum output is either 200W (Model S-250A
) or 400W (Model S-450A
). Both models have a mechanical timer that can be set to continuous or timed (0–15minutes)operation allowing the technician to work on other activities.
