The TS600 is the new, top-of-the line executive desk set for the Talkswitch. This telephone offers advanced features that will greatly enhance your productivity. The new features are:

MESSAGE WAITING COUNT: The telephone displays the number of new voice messages in your voicemail in-box.

HANDSFREE INTERCOM PAGING: You can page a specific local extension. When paging, the local extension automatically answers in handsfree mode and a two way conversation is established. You can initiate intercom paging from any phone; the recipient of the page must have a TS-200, TS400 orTS-600 telephone.

HANDSFREE GROUP PAGING: You can page a ring group. When paging, all the extensions in the ring group that support this feature automatically answer in handsfree mode and a one way audioconnection is established for the pager to speak their announcement. You can initiategroup paging from any phone; the recipients of the page must have a TS-200, TS400 or TS-600telephone. It is not necessary for all phones in the ring group to be TS-200, TS400 or TS-600.

These features are available only for the 24-CA, 48-CA and 48-CVA products. Please be advised that the latest TalkSwitch software (minimum 3.21.120) and firmware (minimum 3.21.82) isrequired to take full advantage of these advanced features offered with the TS-200, TS400 or TS600telephone. Once you have upgraded your TalkSwitch firmware and configuration software, you will be able to use Message Waiting Count Indicator, Group Handsfree Paging andIntercom Handsfree Paging with your TS-600 telephone. Note that the TS-600 telephonewill still operate with any Talkswitch unit and firmware version. In this situation, theadvanced features will not be available and some functions in the menus, such as paging, will not work.
