Description:
Quintum's Tenor-S Survivable VoIP Switches provide local IP endpoint registration and call routing functionality
in the event that communication with the central proxy is lost. In these circumstances the Tenor-S takes over as
the local routing engine, supporting the local IP phones. The Tenor-S continues to monitor the status of the
central SIP proxy and, once communication is re-established, passes routing responsibility back to the central
proxy.
