The ATLAS System 56 is designed using the latest in digital technology. New technologies such as DSP's and SMT manufacturing processes ensure quality and reliability, serving both you and your customers for years to come.

The ATLAS System 56 can be ordered with a built-in self-contained voice processing unit, providing auto attendant and voicemail services. This feature rich unit uses "FLASH RAM" Technology, which is much more reliable than the traditional hard drive system. Even though the built-in voice processing unit will serve the needs of most businesses, those requiring even more robust voice processing applications may order the WAV stand alone PC based voice processing unit.

Computer Telephony Integration (CTI)
The ATLAS System 56 is not only a state of the art fully featured telecommunications system it is the platform of the optional and powerful ATLAS COMPUTER TELEPHONY INTEGRATION SYSTEM (ACTIS). ACTIS is the term we use to describe the building blocks of the Atlas CTI system. Going beyond integration, ACTIS combines the Atlas digital switching platform, the Atlas voice processing module, (WAV), and a variety of standard and optional software packages to help your company serve its clients more efficiently.

Fully Integrated Voice Mail
Atlas digital internal voice mail module eliminates third party vendor voice mail compatibility problems, and gives you big voice mail performance at a very competetive cost.

Executive Display Speakerphone with 24 or 32
Executive Display Phones offer extreme flexibility and increased productivity for the busy executive. Both the 2 line 32 Character Display and the 8 line 20 Character Large Screen Display Telephone keep you informed of call status conditions. In addition to the fixed feature keys, you may configure the flexible programmable buttons to meet individual needs. A top quality speakerphone gives you a convenient and effective communication tool.

Digital Voice Technology
Voice signals entering the system are converted to digital format and processed as data signals. A full 64 kbps of bandwidth is dynamically allocated for each voice call, insuring superior voice quality.

Automatic Route Selection
Long Distance rates become more manageable with ATLAS System 56. Taking into account time and distance rates, as well as individual station restrictions, the system automatically places outside calls in the most cost effective manner.

Future Flexibility
All station equipment software and features can be migrated to the large KDX-500 system to meet future growth needs.

Whisper page
Allows you to receive an internal phone call while on your handset with an outside caller, without the outside caller’s knowledge.
