Description:
The neoPlex-II offers a total office communications solution for a medium-size office environment. With features rivaling the most sophisticated digital PBX systems, the neoPlex-II is the ideal solution if you want an affordable, scalable medium-size office system without compromising functionality.
The neoPlex-II is expandable to 128 ports (CO lines plus extensions) allowing plenty of headroom for growth and expansion. The CO line
ports come equipped with Caller ID compatibility, fax detection, tone and pulse
dialing support, and Centrex compatibility. The extension ports of the neoPlex-II
support most telephone devices, including: neoPlex PVT series key telephones,
neoPlex operator consoles, neoPlex door phones, ordinary analog telephones, cordless
phones, fax machines, modems, and credit card machines. With this flexibility, the
neoPlex is the answer for almost any office telecommunications application.
Designed for the Growing Business
The architecture of the neoPlex-II system is based on a proprietary digital backplane and universal card-slot arrangement.
Card-slots and plug-in connectors accommodate any of several port or optional peripheral cards allowing systems to be
custom-built to meet the specific requirements of each installation. This design makes it possible to build a system to
satisfy your current needs while providing for future growth. The system features 11 Card-Slots and a Digital Switch Processing System (DXPS) card that holds the call handling CPU, external paging output, music-on-hold input and the RS-232 serial port.
neoPlex-II systems can be custom-built
to meet your specific needs. The neoPlex-II can be set up with a range of capacities and options. Digital Trunks (T-1/
E-1. ISDNPRI, ISDNBRI*), Analog Trunks
(ATI and DID), Extensions (AEI and DEI),
and Integrated Voice Mail and Auto-
Attendant (IVP - 4 to 24 channel) are all
available on the neoPlex-II.

Reliable
Several design aspects guarantee reliable service and prevent unproductive and costly down-time. Battery back-up
enables the system to operate during outages and in environments where power supply is irregular. The configuration is
stored in non-volatile memory maintaining system settings even through lengthy power shut-downs. Built-in protection
and isolation of vital components and external interfaces ensures protection from damaging forces such as lightning
strikes.
