Greenlee has done it again. Theyve taken one of the most commonlyused electrician tools and made it faster, safer and easier. The new GT-65 voltage and continuity tester are capable of performing thebasic tests expected from a voltage tester, but when Greenlees GT-65 voltage tester are used, the results are just a cut above the of the features that set the Greenlee voltage testers apart from thecompetition are auto-hold, non-contact voltage detection (EF), self-checkand over-voltage warning. The auto-hold feature automatically activateswhen the tester is removed after taking a voltage reading. The LEDs flashthe last measured value for 10 seconds. Its a hold feature without thehold button!
The EF function is a convenient non-contact method for detecting more precision, such as distinguishing between current-carrying andground wires, connect a test lead to the + input terminal and use it as aprobe. Another convenience from Greenlees GT-65!
Another distinguishing feature is the self-check function. The self-checkfunction is a quick method to verify that the LEDs and LCDs are workingproperly. Finally, with safety always being in the forefront, the GT-65 voltage tester has an over-voltage warning feature. The 1000VAC/380 VDC LED flashes if these levels are exceeded. The GT-95 LCDdisplays OL above 1000 VAC or DC.
As with all Greenlee test and measurement products, the GT-65 voltage tester has Greenlees lifetime limited warranty. In addition, it has safety category ratings of Category IV 600V andCategory III 1000V.
