It is an IP router, SIP gateway and IP PBX all in one box. The Quadro4x is equipped with 4 FXS ports for connection of standard analog POTS phones or fax machines. 30 additional IP phones can be configured as SIP extensions. In addition, there are 4 FXO ports for connection to the PSTN. With a built-in QoS router, LAN voice traffic can be routed to the Internet, eliminating the need for an additional IP router. The Quadro incorporates a stateful inspection firewall, NAT, DHCP client and server, and web browser configuration. In addition to the features of the 2x, the Quadro4x adds USB ports for voicemail memory expansion. With the purchase of a software key, the Quadro4x can expand to support 16 more IP phone extensions, bringing the total to 50 analog and IP extensions. One additional software key can be purchased to add 16 more IP phone extensions, brining the total to 66 analog and IP extensions. One free Quadro Communications Manager license is included with the base system. Note: One free Epygi softphone, the Quadro Communications Manager (QCM), license is included with the base system. The Quadro 4x-4FXO includes 30 IP Phone ports and 4 FXS ports.
