DuPont Tychem SL material provides effective protection against a wide range of chemicals. Tychem SL material utilizes Saranex 23-P film laminated to Tyvek fabric, resulting in a rugged, durable, and abrasion-resistant garment. The fabric offers a minimum of 30 minutes of protection against over 124 chemical challenges. Coveralls are ideally suited for chemical mixing, hazardous remediation, emergency medical response, paint spraying, and nuclear environment applications.
Coveralls are available with either bound or taped seams. Garments with bound seams feature multiple interlocking threads sewn around the raw edges of garment material to create strong, stress-resistant seams. Taped seams offer stronger resistance against heavy liquid splashes. Garments with taped seams feature a sewn seam covered with a strip of compatible chemical-resistant material through heatsealing. All coveralls are equipped with a laydown collar and elastic openings at the wrists and ankles for secure fitting. A storm flap covers the front zipper, and can be sealed with an adhesive strip to further prevent intrusion.
