The multimedia seat is designed for power
users,managers and employees who conduct
frequent audio and Web conference calls. This
seat offers all the features of the C4 professional
seat, plus advanced IP features such as audio,
video and Web conferencing, video calling, and
maximum voicemail storage.
Professional Seat
The professional seat is designed for the
majority of employees. The seat provides users
with standard PBX phone features, as well as
advanced IP features such as find-me-followme,
unified messaging and user presence
information.
Receptionist Seat
Designed for a receptionist who manages a
high volume of calls, the receptionist seat uses
an IP phone and softphone for call control,
answering incoming calls, dialing outgoing
calls, call monitoring, and transferring. The seat
also provides users with a Personal Agent Web
Portal for advanced call routing.
Basic Seat
Basic seats are designed for support and
clerical employees who are moderate PC users
and do not require the PC Client or
advanced IP functionality. This seat provides
users with standard PBX phone features as well
as basic unified messaging capabilities.
Common Seat
The common seat is designed for a common
area that requires only basic phone
functionality and does not need advanced call

This phone is intended for use in a lobby, break

conference phone, but do not need advanced

Mobile Seat
Designed for a road warrior who does not have
a permanent office, this seat relies solely on the
PC Client as a softphone and multimedia
communications tool. This seat includes
premium PC Client and premium unified
messaging capabilities.
Voicemail Seat
Voicemail seats are designed as general
storage accounts, typically used to store
messages from shared numbers, call centers
and auto attendants. This seat is not intended
for a user and does not offer a client interface
for making or receiving calls.
