The 2.5-Gbps 15454-DM-L1 (50.1) multiservice aggregation line card for the Cisco ONS 15454 Multiservice Transport Platform (MSTP) provides a highly scalable solution that addresses today's ever-growing requirement for data and storage bandwidth in enterprises as well as metropolitan-area (metro) and regional managed service providers. This 8-port multiservice aggregation card efficiently uses wavelengths by aggregating Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, IBM Fiber Connection (FICON), and Enterprise Systems Connection (ESCON) services into a 2.5-Gbps wavelength.
