Aastra Telecom is pleased to announce the availability of an additional product to their popular 5i Series of IP telephones.The Model 51i joins the existing 5i Series family consisting of the 53i, 55i, 57i and 57i CT models and extends one of the most complete VoIP telephone product offerings in the industry.

The 51i addresses the need for a lower priced, entry level single line SIP based telephone for light use in small and medium business applications such as lobbies, common areas, or individual user environments. The 51i retains the style and core features of the 5i Series including: XML browser capabilities, full duplex speakerphone, extensive storage capacity and simplified deployment. While the 51i does not include some of the features that can be found with other models in the 5i Series such as headset support, backlit display or expansion module capability, it does deliver an excellent mix of value and performance in a carrier/enterprise grade quality IP phone.

Further to their recent announcement regarding keypad design options for the 5i Series, the Model 51i is available in both English and Symbol keypad versions using the following order information:
